This summer, join the Youth Adventure Program for an exciting study abroad trip to Australia! Studying topics in the field of Ecology, Conservation, and Oceanography, students will be truly immersed in the land down under. Highlights from the trip include: Outback Experience at Sheoak Ridge Nature Reserve, Daintree Rainforest Observatory, Daintree River Crocodile Cruise, Ngadiku Dreamtime Walk, Snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef, Living Coral Conservation Tour, Wildlife Habitats, and Sunset Cruise Aboard a Cairns Catamaran.
Trip Dates: June 9 – 19, 2027
Eligibility: Rising 10th Grader – College Freshman (Fall 2027) AND 15+ years old by 6/9/27

How to Apply:
- 1. Submit your online application to attend. There is a $321 application fee to submit your application. These funds will be applied to your tuition if admitted. If not admitted, the application fee will be refunded.
- 2. Submit your student essay responses to the following 2 short answer questions (250 word maximum per question):
- Essay Question 1 – Communicate the relationship between this trip and the profession you envision for yourself. How will taking part in this study abroad help in advancing and/or solidifying your college goals and career ambitions?
- Essay Question 2 – Convey the A&M core characteristics that define who you are as a person, a scholar, and a leader. How do these attributes and abilities differentiate you from other applicants?
After you’ve submitted your application, you will receive a confirmation email that includes a link to submit your essay responses.
- 3. Await a decision of admittance. All applications and essays will be reviewed by a judging committee following receipt. Your admittance decision will be communicated within a week of receiving your essay responses. Upon admittance, a $1,234 deposit will be due. The remaining balance is due by January, 31, 2027 and can be paid in monthly installments.
